Why do I need to log in?

For your own security, we require you to log in to your account. We use your details to be able to contact you regarding your order and to inform you of any changes to the website. We do not pass on any information about our customers to any third parties.

How do I log in?

You need to be an existing SHARED EARTH customer, and have an account number and password in order to access our online shop. You log in using your account number and password. Please contact our sales team if you would like to buy online.

How can I set up a wholesale account?

If you are an existing business wishing to sell our products, please contact our sales team who will set up an account for you. You may then log in and purchase goods on-line. Alternatively, you may order by phone, fax or post. For your first order, we require payment to be received before the goods are despatched. You will be sent a credit application form with your pro-forma invoice. Please complete and return this form if you wish us to set up a 30-day credit account for subsequent orders.

How do I find and select a product?

There are different ways to find products:

  1. Click on the appropriate links to browse through the categories. If you are logged in, you may enter the quantity you require, and click "Add to Basket". For more product information, click "More".
  2. At the top right hand side of the screen is a search facility. You may enter part of a product description, e.g. bag, or the name of a supplier, or a product code. You will be shown the products that match your search request.
  3. If you know the product codes of the items you wish to purchase, you may select the "Quick Order Form" link in the left sideabar. From here you key the product codes and quantities that you require.

Are all your products available to purchase on-line?

All the products in our current catalogues are available to purchase on-line unless they have been discontinued and we are out of stock.

Can I see if a product is out of stock?

The stock status (i.e. "in stock" or "out of stock") is shown against each product. However, please be aware that the stock levels are only updated to the website once per day, and therefore may not be completely up-to-date. Only back orders totalling £40 or more will be sent out. If less, we will wait until we receive another order from you.

Is ordering from your website secure?

Yes, SHARED EARTH uses data encryption preventing unauthorised parties from reading the information that you send and receive.

How much is the delivery cost?

Within the UK, delivery is free on orders £200 or over (ex VAT), otherwise delivery is £7.50 + VAT.

Can I have goods delivered outside the UK?

Yes, please contact our sales team for details. Click here for approximate costs.

When will my goods arrive?

Your goods should arrive within 5-7 working days.

What do I do if I am not happy with any goods?

We will accept return of goods in a re-saleable condition for credit. They must be well packed for return transit. If you wish to return any goods, please contact our sales team who will give you delivery instructions.

What if my goods arrive damaged?

Please notify our sales team of any damaged goods you receive within 7 days of receipt of your invoice.

Do you have a printed catalogue?

Yes, please contact our sales team if you would like a catalogue to be posted to you.

Fair trade means giving producers a decent price for their work, ensuring that working conditions are safe, with adequate heat, ventilation, etc. avoiding the exploitation of children, women and other oppressed groups and trying to ensure that trade benefits the community as well as the individual.
